Definitions: 

The Organiser: Waterworks Events Ltd, 

“You” “Your” “Ticket Holders”; Means the individual who purchases, holds, or uses a ticket to access the event, whether or not they are the original purchaser.

“The Event” “Waterworks Festival”: Waterworks Festival, taking place Saturday 12th September 2026, Gunnersbury Park, Popes Ln, London W3 8LQ

Tickets, admission and cancellation

  1. Upon booking a ticket you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions of Admission.

  2. The Organiser reserves the right to add to or amend these Terms from time to time. Amendments will take effect when posted on the Waterworks website www.waterworksfestival.co.uk. Please check the Info section regularly for changes and to ensure you have up to date information as these are binding on you.

  3. Tickets are sold through our official ticket agents Resident Advisor who act on behalf of The Organisers of the event. Full terms and conditions relating to the purchase of tickets through the ticket agents can be found on their website.

  4. Please be aware that tickets may also be available from other ticketing platforms. Please review the respective terms and conditions before booking tickets. 

  5. When purchasing your ticket you will be asked to provide your customer details, including a contact mobile telephone number. For more information on how we use your personal data please read our Privacy Policy.

  6. The Organiser reserves the right to implement or withdraw ticketing offers and promotions at any time.

  7. In purchasing a ticket, the customer agrees to pay the price stated at that point in time. This price is not subject to any previous or subsequent offers or promotions.

  8. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission.

  9. Only valid tickets will be accepted on presentation at the event. Be careful not to purchase tickets from unofficial third-party sources as it cannot be guaranteed that they are genuine and invalid or duplicate tickets will not be accepted.

  10. Where tickets are in the form of barcodes, they will be scanned upon entry; once a barcode has been scanned it cannot be used again. The first scanned ticket to arrive at the event will be allowed entry; any subsequent ticket with the same barcode will be denied access. Please treat your ticket as you would cash, the organisers accept no responsibility or liability for any inconvenience caused by the unauthorised duplication of a ticket. Do not post images of your barcode on social media.

  11. Where they are in use, wristbands that are removed from the wrist, lost or have been tampered with will be deemed invalid and will not be replaced. If you do not have a valid wristband, you will be refused admission to the site or may be removed from the site. Wristbands issued by Waterworks Festival remain the property of Waterworks Festival.

  12. Valid photographic ID must be shown on request when presenting your ticket.

  13. All tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable and not resellable unless this is an option of your ticket agent.

  14. Last entry to this event is 17:30 on all days of the Event. There is no re-entry to this event.

  15. Admission is at Ticket Holder’s own risk. The Organisers will not be held liable for any loss or damages sustained at the event including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles, if the cause is due to the negligence of the Ticket Holder or the actions of other patrons or third parties or Force Majeure.

  16. We reserve the right to make alterations to the time, date, duration and venue of the Event in the event of unforeseen or other circumstances, including (but without limitation) Force Majeure, safety and security concerns or decisions from authorised persons or other competent authority. In the event of such alteration, neither we nor our official ticket agent will be liable to the Ticket Holder or any other person for any costs, expenses or other losses resulting from such alteration.

  17. Unless otherwise agreed at our sole discretion, a ticket will not be exchanged or refunded if:

    1. after the Event has started, it is stopped for any reason and is not completed;

    2. on any day of the Event, the start time is delayed for any reason;

    3. the start time (but not the date) of the Event changes after the date the ticket purchased; or

    4. the ticket is used for entry into the Event.

  18. Tickets are available for purchase for specific time slots. You agree to arrive within the time slot you selected. Late arrivals may incur a top-up fee, which will be charged at the discretion of gate staff on arrival. 

  19. If the event is cancelled, only the face value of the ticket will be refunded and not the booking fee. You will be given the option to purchase ticket protection cover at the point of purchase should you find yourself unable to attend the event because of illness or some other unforeseen reason. This is via a 3rd party provider and is in no way affiliated to Waterworks Festival. We strongly recommend reading their terms and conditions of cover to ensure the cover is suitable for you prior to committing to purchase.

  20. The Event is subject to obtaining the relevant licenses.

Measures for Global Emergency, Pandemics or Epidemics

  1. In the event of a global emergency, pandemic or epidemic, the Organiser will comply with all current HM Government Legislation, Regulations and Statutory Guidelines in relation to public health rules, policies and guidance which can be subject to change at short notice. 
  2. On the occasion that safety measures are in place to mitigate the risk of a global emergency, pandemic or epidemic, the Organiser retains the right to change entrance policies according to government advice. Non-compliance may result in denied Entry or ejection. You recognise the inherent risk of exposure to a global emergency, pandemic or epidemic in any public place and acknowledge that the Organiser is not responsible for illness or death caused as a result of exposure at our event. 
  3. If the Organiser is required to reduce the capacity of the event due to a Global Emergency, pandemic or epidemic Tickets will be cancelled, refunded, or offered as rollovers to a future event based on the purchase date.
  4. The Organiser reserves the right to alter or remove public safety measures in response to government guidance or at our discretion.

Age Policy

  1. This event is strictly for people aged 18 and over.

  2. Photographic ID as proof of age will be required on entry.

  3. We operate a Challenge 25 policy at all of our bars. You will be refused service for alcohol if you look under 25 and are unable to provide one of the following as a form of valid ID:

    1. Current (within shown expiry date) passports or an equivalent form of identification such as a national identity card with a photo and date of birth (all nationalities)

    2. Current (within shown expiry date) photographic driving licences or provisional licences and date of birth (all nationalities)

    3. N.I. electoral ID cards (accepted in Northern Ireland)

    4. Military IDs with a photo and date of birth (UK only)

    5. Cards with a PASS logo such as Citizen, Connexions, Validate or Young Scot

Search Policy

    1. For the safety of our customers and staff, security will be conducting stringent searches at the gate.

    2. Anyone found to be carrying illicit items will have them confiscated and may be removed from the Event and handed over to the police where necessary.

    3. Please do not attempt to bring any of the following items inside the Event:

      1. Fireworks, laser pens, or flares

      2. Alcohol, illicit drugs including nitrous oxides or legal highs

      3. Animals (with the exception of guide dogs)

      4. Aerosols

      5. Selfie sticks

      6. Umbrellas

      7. Glass including perfume bottles

      8. Cans

      9. Hi Vis waistcoats, jackets or vests

      10. Bicycles or scooters

      11. Chairs

      12. Food / Drink / Cool boxes / Picnic hampers

      13. Pens or Paint

      14. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (aka Drones)

      15. Any form of seating other than wheelchairs

      16. Anything which could be considered an offensive weapon or could cause danger or nuisance

General

    1. The Event is outdoors; no refunds are provided for inclement weather, bring suitable clothing and footwear.

    2. The Event operates as a cash-less event. 

    3. The artist and performer line-up and all billed attractions are subject to change at any time without notice.

    4. Strictly no commercial activities or trading on site unless previously agreed by Waterworks Festival.

    5. Waterworks Festival accepts no responsibility for goods or services purchased from third-party traders.

    6. As a condition of sale, the ticket holder consents to being filmed, photographed and recorded for television, radio, webcast and other public broadcast and/or for any video/DVD or by onsite CCTV cameras and recordings for security purposes.

    7. The tented arenas and other areas of the event are designated No Smoking areas (this includes e cigarettes), this is in accordance with the Smoke Free Regulations. Failure to comply with these regulations and event signage may result in ejection.

    8. Warning: exposure to loud and excessive music may be damaging to your hearing. Please ensure you wear suitable hearing protection.

    9. Pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, strobe lighting and other special effects may take place during some performances.

    10. Crowd surfing and moshing are prohibited. 

    11. Fires and fire-related activities are also prohibited.

    12. Unauthorised professional photography or filming equipment, including drones, is not allowed.

    13. Strictly no trading, marketing, or flyposting by any Ticket Holder without prior written consent of the Organiser. The Organiser may charge a retrospective fee for any Commercial Activity, including filming, on the Site.

    14. Official merchandise will be available onsite. Please be cautious of unofficial traders, and street traders

    15. Please only use the toilets and urinals provided. Do not pollute the Festival Site. 

    16. Please use the recycling bins provided.

    17. The Event Site is free of single-use plastic. Please do not bring single-use plastic on-site.

 

Public Space Protection Order, London Borough of Hunslow: Consumption of alcohol in public spaces is prohibited throughout the borough. 

    1. Please be aware that from 9 April 2025, a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) made by the London Borough of Hounslow will be in effect for a period of three (3) years.

    2. This Order prohibits the consumption of alcohol or possession of open alcohol containers in any public space within the Borough of Hounslow, unless specifically authorised by the Council or an authorised person (including Police or Community Support Officers).

    3. In accordance with this Order:

    4. The consumption of alcohol or any substance reasonably believed to be alcohol is not permitted in public areas outside of the licensed festival site.

    5. Attendees must not bring or consume alcohol on public streets, parks, or surrounding areas when entering or leaving the event.

    6. Security and authorised officers may require individuals to stop consuming alcohol or surrender alcoholic drinks in accordance with the PSPO.

    7. Failure to comply with an authorised officer’s request may result in a Fixed Penalty Notice of up to £100, or prosecution leading to a fine of up to £500.

    8. All attendees are required to respect the PSPO and local regulations when travelling to and from the event. 

The Organiser is not responsible for any fines as a result of you breaching the PSPO. For more information on how you can appeal your PSPO fine, see the official order here.

Jurisdiction 

  1. These Terms may be revised and posted on the Event website. Continued Event attendance signifies acceptance of any amended Terms.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law, and the Organiser agrees to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
