Waterworks celebrates a lot of underground UK sounds — you’ve got your own take on that. What do you hope the crowd takes away from your set?

Your DJ sets are known for not sitting in one place too long — how do you balance keeping people locked in while moving through different sounds and energies?
Have noooo idea ha, I like to look at it like I’m playing for myself first and bring people along for the ride with me, lucky I have good taste & people like being on these journeys with me.
You’ve got this genreless thing going — do you think the whole "what genre is this?" conversation is finally dying? Or will people always need boxes?
Some people need boxes & some like to feel part of something and being into this or that new sub-genre is a trend people love to jump on right? I always wanna try other things too, I will often check a new thing & realise oh, this has already been done it just had a different name.
When you’re preparing for a festival vs. a club — is your mindset totally different?
Yes! Outdoor vs Indoor events are different feelings, big warehouse or sweaty venue vs outside in some field or farm. It’s big difference to me.
As someone who DJs, produces, curates parties, and moves between a lot of sounds — how do you stay inspired without burning yourself out?
I try to create space between all of these parts of my career, DJing and making music for my sets, making bodies of work that aren’t specifically club focussed & planning parties and doing merch all require different parts of my brain & I have to switch them on/off sometimes to avoid burn out & going nuts.
